It’s a bird; it’s a plane; it’s . . .

A couple weeks ago, we were having dinner on our deck.  It was a beautiful night and Mr. BBM was looking at the sky.  "That’s strange," he said, "there’s a plane flying up there and you don’t see any exhaust."  I looked up and saw this black object in the sky.  Usually planes look silverish in the sky, and so I said, "Are you sure that’s a plane?".  My husband looked where I was looking and told me I wasn’t looking at the right object in the sky.  He then started watching what I pointed out.  It was very high up in the sky, moving very quickly, and it seemed to be rotating.  We had the video camera out because we had been recording the girls being silly.  He directed the camera to the sky and shot this:

So, what do YOU think it is???  UFO?

    3. No, we never did figure out what it was. My Mom suggested that it might be a big group of balloons, but it was very dark, very big and looked to be moving too fast for that to be a reasonable explanation. It was very strange.

    7. A skydiver? Maybe? Kind of a dangerous place to do that, though…it looks an awful lot like a parachute to me.

    8. I don’t know what that thing is. You never know, it could be an alien spacecraft. Proof that there’s intelligent life in outer space is that none of it has tried to contact us!

    11. I’m with the balloons!! When it zooms it you get the multicolored flash of them!
    Hopefully there wasn’t a child still attached to them 😛

    12. My un-professional opinion is that it looks like a bunch of baloons. Like from a kid’s party or something. *shrug* Looks like I could see red and yellow circles…..of course that’s after watching it like 100 times. LOL
