Melba Toast and “Dance Your Way to Hollywood”
I am that person who picks all the Melba toast out of a snack mix. I blame it on my mom who during almost the entire time she was pregnant with me could eat nothing else but Melba toast. I love using Melba toast as the base for a smoked salmon and chives appetizer (that I made up myself, thank you very much!) or to munch on with a salad. Most recently, I dipped it in a veggie ranch dip…even my husband was chowing down on that!!
If you haven't had Melba toast in awhile (or ever??? really?), I encourage you to run out and grab a box. I had no idea that there was more than one flavor-but there is! We tried the Sea Salt and Spicy 3 Pepper. I preferred the Sea Salt, but my husband preferred the Spicy 3 Pepper. You can check out some cool recipes for great summer entertaining here.
With summer on its way, we're all thinking about eating healthier and becoming more active. The people at Old London Melba snacks are helping to get people focused on this. They have launched the "Dance Your Way to Hollywood" sweepstakes. You can enter to win a trip to Hollywood where you and a guest will get private dance lessons and tickets to watch a taping of a highly popular television show. This is a four day, three night, all expenses paid trip including airfare and accommodations. Can you feel you leg muscles toning up just reading that?
Kudos to the people at Melba for making a healthy snack and a cool sweepstakes. You can enter to win until June 30th. TKDDaughter gives Melba Toast and the Dance Your Way to Hollywood sweepstakes a:

Airwear Lenses
My husband has been wearing glasses forever. He often tries out contact lenses, but finds them uncomfortable. Glasses, however, can take a beating when worn continuously especially when doing the renovation projects of the magnitude we have in our house. So, he needs comfortable glasses that are durable.
Back in the late fall, we were asked to try out a pair of Airwear lenses. After a few complications, my husband has declared these lenses super comfortable. Airwear lenses are 30% lighter and 10 times more impact resistant than standard plastic lenses. This comes in handy when wrenches are falling when he's working under the car or as he bangs his head on the boards he is cutting for the new porch railing.
Since it's Earth Day, we can celebrate Airwear lenses because of their green quality. 100% of the product waste from Airwear lenses is recycled reducing their environmental footprint that occurs during production.
We did have some issues with the company. It took a very long time to receive our lenses, and when we got the first set of lenses, there was a flaw in the lenses that made it blurry for my husband. They rectified the situation and my husband is now comfortably wearing his lenses.

Triscuit Home Farming Movement
When I moved into my first home, I was so excited to have a place to start a garden. This first home was my grandparents' home and right next to the rectangular side porch was a small square garden in which my grandfather yearly grew his tomatoes. Using the soil that he had so lovingly tended, I created my first garden, tomatoes and a small basil plant. Thus began my love of all things basil.
This is why I am so excited about the Triscuit Home Farming movement. Triscuit, in collaboration with the non-profit organization Urban Farming, has launched the Triscuit Home Farming Movement. The purpose of the movement is to encourage home farming and to bring novice home farmers together with seasoned farmers.
Let's face it, fresh is better and healthier. There is nothing like warm tomatoes, fresh picked off the vine, or fresh herbs taken right from your own garden. And in this economy, there's nothing cheaper and easier than growing your own food.
Triscuit has made it even easier to grow your own garden by placing plantable herb seed cards in four million boxes of Triscuit. So, it's time to get farming, America. Be sure to pick up a box of Triscuit and check out their website.

Olay Total Effects Body Wash
I am a connoisseur of body wash. Just ask my husband. I rarely come home from the grocery store without some kind of body wash. I am always trying new ones and hoping they will actually do what they say they will. I am one dry skinned girl during the winter and nothing ever seems to help.
Olay Total Effects Body Wash totally does help.
Olay Total Effects is supposed to improve elasticity, relieve dryness, deeply condition skin, brighten dull skin, even skin tone, smooth rough skin and minimize the appearance of dry lines.
After receiving a sample from Olay via MyBlog Spark, I paced myself and used the entire bottle over the course of several weeks. The wash itself is a thick one. In other words, you won't end up using half the bottle after just one use. It lathers nicely and a little really does go a long way. Not only does it smell really nice, but the results when it comes to my skin were pretty amazing. Dry patches completely disappeared and even the scaly parts on my hands were greatly improved. After a month of using it, I don't know if I'm younger looking (I'm fairly critical of my wrinkles), but I can definitely say I'm more moisturized than I've been in a very long time.
After only one use, I can definitely agree with their claim that my skin was softer. It's one body wash that is going to go on my list for repeat usage. It's not simply a soap people. This stuff is serious.
Because I like the results so much, I'm going to give one lucky reader a $10 Walmart gift card, courtesy of Olay and MyBlog Spark, so you can try it for yourself. All you need to do to be entered to win is leave a comment telling your best secret for staying young. Knock my socks off people; now it's your turn. . .
Leave a comment by April 15th for your chance to win.

Banquet Thanks a Million!
I work three jobs. My days start at 5 A.M. and it ends most nights at midnight. With just a short break in the afternoon to pick up my son and feed him dinner, time is tight. Like most parents, I would prefer to make all of our dinners from the freshest materials and always from scratch, but that's just not possible. So often, I have to turn to something fast and easy.
Banquet has been helping busy families out with dinner for 50 years now. During the last two weeks, with extra hours at work, I turned to Banquet to provide some balanced meals for my family. A favorite frozen entree of mine has always been Salisbury Steak. Now that I have a son, we can't pass up Chicken Nuggets, his favorite food! I'm so thankful to have an easy and tasty alternative for dinners!
As Banquet's way of saying thanks to all their loyal customers, they have launched their Banquet Thanks a Million Instant win game. Look for the "Thanks a Million" logo on their frozen entrees which contains a game piece for prizes ranging from a Banquet coupon to $100,000! I'd say that's a nice way to say thanks!
For giving me something less to think about at dinnertime and for giving me hope that I can get rid of one of my jobs by winning one of these prizes, TKDDaughter gives Banquet:
