Johnsons No More Tears 50th Anniversary
Filed under: Beauty, General Information, Household
As I sit to write this post, my son is currently taking a bubble bath. He is, of course, using the new JOHNSON'S® Baby Bubble Bath & Wash. That's because I only use Johnson's products for him. Over the past four plus years, I have been given other bath products, but I can't use them. I'm sure they are quality products, but for me, Johnson's is the bath time product of choice. I like the smell of baby after a bath using Johnson's products. Forever will I think of my son's first bath in his little newborn tub when I smell Johnson's products. I can remember the frightened look in his eyes when I placed him in there and how suddenly he seemed to relax as I poured the warm water over him. Memories like these are what make us go back to the products we love.
Johnson's is currently celebrating their 50th Anniversary with two new products…the JOHNSON'S® HEAD-TO-TOE® Foaming Wash and JOHNSON'S® Baby Bubble Bath & Wash. My son is loving the bubble bath-we've never used bubble bath before and he's having a blast playing in them. (Now, if we could only get the bathing done and get the clean boy in bed…) The Foaming Wash is so easy to use…it comes out easily and it's helping our son to wash himself. (Yay!!) If you'd like more info on Johnson's, check this out.
Johnson's No More Tears seems to be a family tradition. Thanks, MomCentral, for allowing to post my thoughts on this anniversary and to Johnson's for being a part of my life for…well, let's just say a long time.

Electrolux Virtual Cupcake Campaign for OCRF
Filed under: General Information, Household, Websites
I desperately want any of the appliances that Electrolux makes…and their new Red Hot Red washer and dryer has certainly gotten my attention. Electrolux makes high quality appliances, but what makes them an even more attractive company is the charitable work they do.
Right now through the end of February, Electrolux, teaming up with Kelly Ripa, is holding the Virtual Cupcake Campaign for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. By logging on to Kelly Confidential, you can send a virtual cupcake to a friend and Electroluxwill donate $1 to OCRF. Just think, you can brighten a friend's day AND do charitable work in one click of the mouse! For a little more motivation, every time that you send a cupcake, your name gets entered into a drawing for Electrolux's newest front-load washer and dryer. It's a win/win/win situation!
Kelly Ripa has also designed a "Wear Your Heart on Your Sleeve" t shirt that you can purchase and 100% of the proceeds benefit OCRF. It's a great gift to get your girlfriends and for yourself. You can look good and feel good all at the same time.
Thanks,MomCentral, for hooking me up with this great campaign! Go now and send your cupcakes…it's a ton of fun and you're supporting such a great cause! TKDDaughter gives Electrolux and their Virtual Cupcake Campaign a
Blueberry Acai Yo-Plus
Acai is the latest and great thing and everyone seems to be talking about it these days. My gym offers acai berry smoothies. Celebrities swear it's the best thing that ever happened to them; and now Yoplait has made acai accessible to all.
If you like yogurt, you're going to love Blueberry Acai Yo-Plus. The yogurt isn't custard-like. Instead it has more of the consistency of a nice pudding. The flavor itself is fantastic. With blueberries and acai berries circulating in the yogurt, it's an instant pleaser. Beware though, like the raspberry, acai berries have some gritty seeds to them. The yogurt itself isn't overwhelmed with them, but there are a few which could come as a surprise to new acai berry consumers.
The yogurt comes packed with probiotics and prebiotics and a healthy amount of fiber. They challenge you to try it for 10 days and not love it. I'd love to try it for 10 days straight. The only problem is that I bought it this morning and it's gone. My kids found it. for more information about Yoplait's Yo-Plus line, go here. For additional nutritional information including carb counts, etc, go here.
Perhaps the best thing about this new yogurt is that YOU, yes you, can try it for free. Not only that, but Yo-Plus is offering a great Yoplait cooler tote bag (perfect for the beach or an afternoon at the park), a great big water bottle perfect for the gym or the dojo, a small nurtritional journal, perfect for tucking in your purse or pocket to keep track of what you're eating, and a coupon to try Yo-Plus for free.
If you'd like an opportunity to get one of these fantastic gift packs, leave a comment below. Winners will be randomly selected and the gift bag will be sent out immediatey. The contest on this blog runs until Monday. Leave a comment and win! Even if you don't win? You can go here to download a coupon for $1.50 off of a 4-pack.
For being healthy and tasty, BBM gives Yo-Plus. . .
Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win! AND, check back because we have another give-away coming up soon!
Blog Writing Course
You're reading this review, so clearly you like blogs. You might have a blog already, or perhaps you just like to read other people's blogs. But wouldn't it be awesome to host your own blog? To have a place to voice your opinions, to share wisdom with others, or just perhaps an embarrassing story about yourself. Maybe you are looking for a community of like minds for support and encouragement. Having a blog gives you a place to express yourself and enter an entirely different community.
After years of badgering, BBM finally got me to start my own blog-but it took a class to get me to do it. So, because she was teaching the class and I wanted to support her, I took the class. It was awesome. It helped me to understand the blog community better and it taught me how to develop a blog not only within the content, but also to build readership and community. I worked with other talented people wanting to find their voice. At first, we were shy and a little embarrassed, hesitant to put onto the computer screen what filled our heads. Slowly, with great leadership and good course content, our skills expanded into the blogs we have today.
If you have ever thought about starting a blog OR you have a blog and need some help with it, I highly recommend you check out www.blogwritingcourse.com. The new class starts now, so hurry and get registered. You still have time to get in on this class and you won't regret it.
Now go and get blogging!
Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!
It's getting harder and harder to find quality television for our son. He loves the completely age-INappropriate shows and is drawn towards the aliens/superhero type shows. There is one, however, that promotes good values and has stood the test of time in our house, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!
On February 3rd, they released a DVD with six great episodes from the show that airs on both Nick Jr. and Noggin, A Little Help From My Friends. When I received the package in the mail to review from MomCentral, I informed our son that this was HIS review to do. So we sat down, popped in the DVD, and watched. And watched. And watched. I let him watch all the episodes, including the bonus ones. They were all episodes we had watched before, but he took them in as if it were the first time. The great part about Wubbzy and all of his Wuzzleburg friends is that they all work together to discover true values, confidence, cooperation, teamwork and above all, the meaning of friendship.
Parents can get involved to a http://wubbzy.com/by signing up for a newsletter, reading the Wubbzy blog (how cute is that?!), listen to Wubbzy podcasts, and print out cool coloring pages. You can buy the DVD here at the BBM Review Store.
