Generation Huggies
Back in the 1970s, when I was born, my mother had a decision to make-cloth or disposable diapers. While to women today this doesn’t seem to be a big deal, merely having the choice between the two forms of diapers was a big deal back then. Disposable diapers were relatively new, and many women were still opting for the cloth variety.
I am a part of the Huggies Generation and the people at Huggies want to celebrate this…well, not celebrate me, but all women who are now moms. Huggies is celebrating it’s 30th anniversary and to help celebrate, they are doing a bunch of activities. First, Huggies is currently touring American cities, video taping women about what motherhood means to them to possibly be included in their national ad campaign. But you don’t have to wait to see if they come to a city near you-you can submit a video without leaving the comfort of your home! Here’s how you can do that:
Now through November 20, 2008, there are two ways for moms to create a video reflecting on “What Motherhood Means to Me.”
1. Videos can be uploaded to www.GenerationHuggies.com
2. Videos should be no longer than 60 seconds in length and
no larger than 5MB.
3. Everyone can participate by giving a hug, or vote, to their
favorite video through November 30, 2008.
5. Judging ends November 30, 2008.
Huggies is also having a sweepstakes where you can win $30,000!!! You have until November 30, 2008 to go to www.GenerationHuggies.com and enter. Just think, that could start an awesome college fund for your child or give you a great new wardrobe!!
